Alex MacDougall, as a member of the Richie Furay band, tours with Loggins & Messina, Leon Russell and the Beach Boys, among others. Alex also played percussion on Richie's "I've Got A Reason" LP on Elektra.
Alex MacDougall plays drums on "House Between Two Rivers", the debut album from Becky Ugartechea.
For about 3 weeks in 1976, Daniel Amos had a female backup singer.
Her name was Diane Hershey, and she had previously been a member of Bill Sprouse's The Road Home. She traveled with the band on their Maranatha Circuit tour in Northern California.

Daniel Amos
The band’s first album, Daniel Amos, is released. The band for the album was Terry Taylor (Lead Vocals/Guitars), Jerry Chamberlain (Guitars/Vocals), Marty Dieckmeyer (Bass), and Steve Baxter (Guitars/Vocals). Ed MacTaggart (drums) joins the band soon after.

Terry: "Baby steps. Falling down a lot. Embarassing. "Skeptic's Song" is one of the most embarassing, and it's one of our most popular in live performance, especially at Calvary Chapel. 'Oh, my, you'll fry, as we wave goodbye to you'. It has a certain lack of grace."
Alex: "I remember just liking the guys so much. They were funny people, which was not a trait of most Christian, Jesus movement, 'last days'-type bands. Also, DA was a very good acoustic/vocal group at that time--the best that I can remember."
Notes: "Love In A Yielded Heart" was originally known as "Freedom" in the Jubal's Last Band days.
"Skeptic's Song" was known as "Resurrection" while it was being recorded, and "William" was
known as "Just call me Bill."

The Maranatha Music Show sends out a sample promo album to radio stations. The record contained a description of what the show was going to be and included live recordings of "Don't Light Your Own Fire" and "Shotgun Angel".
The Maranatha Music Show radio show airs live recordings of the unreleased "It Takes A Heartache" and "Jonah And The Whale".
