Larry Norman's "Stranded in Babylon" is released. The song "A Dangerous Place To Be" mentions two of Terry's early bands, The Scarlet Staircase and Jubal's Last Band:
"Falling down the Scarlett Staircase comes Jubal's Last Band
they can't see the cross cause they're too busy listening to the
clapping of one hand.
I'll be waiting in Armageddon when the Lawyers come around
I'll be praying for the strength of Samson to pull the courtroom down."
(Larry tells us the reference is purely coincidental)

Liner Notes
Terry: "Sort of prophetic... the Prayer wheel thing. It was a kind of political record too. I believe it was written about the Gulf War... there's a song about steel rain. I had heard that phrase on television about the bombs coming down like steel rain on Baghdad. I grabbed onto that and wrote a song about it. The album is like a prophetic vision. Once again, some good tunes. I like that record." (1996)
A Kalhoun listening party was held at the festival, where Terry signed CDs and Stuntman Tom Gulotta auctioned off tons of DA memorabilia.
Among the items auctioned off were cover artwork for Knowledge and Innocence, Doppelganger Special edition LPs, Terry's Alarma Tour Jacket, Rob Watson's torn shirt from Cornerstone 90, a promo copy of the I've Got an Idea video, and Terry's almost empty cup of lemonade.

Early 90's

Singer Carolyn Arends used to perform Daniel Amos songs in one of her early bands.
Carolyn: "Yep - I'm a big DA fan. And it's true I used to play some of their tunes live. But - trust me, luck for us - no recording exists. It was a little...er ... early in my musical development. :-)"
